3 FLORIDA RESTAURANTS YOU MUST TRY IN 3 FLORIDA CITIES

Miami, Tampa and Orlando… grab your appetite and let’s dig in!

COTE KOREAN STEAKHOUSE - MIAMI

The Lady surprised me for my birthday with this amazing Michelin star rated dinner in the heart of Miami’s Design District. There are other locations in Singapore, NYC… but the vibe here is VERY Miami. As much as I would advocate trying as much as you can, you really don’t need an appetizer or sides here as you’ll very likely have the meat sweats like I did. We made the mistake of ordering a la carte, but highly recommend ordering the Butchers feast where you can try a lot of things. Or, if you’re ready to spend.. try all the meats with the Steak Omakase!

Tip: They have a GREAT cocktail bar! Enjoy a drink there before you sit down.

KABOOKI SUSHI - ORLANDO

The location isn’t sexy like Miami (at all), but… some of America’s best restaurants are in odd areas.

That said, you’re dining at a James Beard nominated restaurant. Start with a unique cocktail (or get a classic, they nail them both) and begin with some appetizers as everything here is best shared. We recommend the Money Bag’s, Sticky Ribs and Karaage, yum! For meat eaters I suggest the Wagyu Hot Rock and for those sushi lovers go with the unique Hawaii XO.

Tip: After dinner walk next door to their lounge for a night cap and vibe.

BERNS STEAKHOUSE - TAMPA

Hard to say I’m saving the best for last considering these are all Florida’s greatest hits in my mind, but… if you ever look at the Top 50 steakhouses in the USA, Berns is always at or near the top. Aside from excellent cuts and sides… its an experience with infamously one of the largest collections of wine in the world. That’s right, the world.

I had one of the best NY Strips I’ve ever had here, quite possibly the best Mac & Cheese and a glass of Pinot Noir from 1976 that was served by the glass. Yeah. They’ve also just updated their bar and lounge.

Tip: Be sure to order dessert in the dessert room… trust me, you’ll get a small tour of the wine room as well.

Cheers, gents!
