INN & OUT: SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA

The most stunning weather and some pretty amazing eats, drinks and scenery!

Here is where I’d go again:

RESTAURANTS:

Barbusa: Possibly the best Gnocchi I’ve ever had in my life. This place isn’t the easiest to get into nestled right in the heart of San Diego’s Little Italy, but its such a vibe. I also recommend the Meatballs app as well the Carbonara.

Tip: They make their own Espresso Martini’s bottled, sold in stores. Good if you like them sweet & creamy.

Born & Raised: Also located in Little Italy… I’ll be honest, I was too late to eat here but have only heard GREAT things from locals and visitors alike. They had an amazing cocktail bar & a very knowledgable staff… can only get better from there!

Cowboy Star: A widely known steak joint in the Gaslamp Quarter. Strong bar… strong cuts!

LIBATIONS:

Noble Experiment: Hidden inside ‘The Neighborhood,’ this hidden speak-easy has no menu. You tell the mixologists what your vibe is and they won’t miss. You might want to get here early to ensure a good seat as its small in there.

False Idol: Should you find yourself in ‘Craft & Commerce’ in Little Italy, you might want to explore just a bit further. Should you wander down an unsuspecting hallway you’ll find yourself in a Polynesian themed room similar to a Disney exhibit where the cocktail are Tiki themed, yet powerful! Highly recommend this spot. Get here early to avoid the crowd.

ACTIVITIES:

La Jolla: One of the most charming, bougie and stunning coastal cities I’ve ever seen. Perhaps, California’s version of the Hamptons? Spend a day bouncing around the local shops or stop for food in Georges At the Cove or Eddie V’s for one of the best views one can eat upon. Might want to bring a jacket after sun-down as the breeze can get chilly.

Tip: Go see the seals & sea lions at the beach along the cove. The best view of marine wildlife I’ve ever seen!

Cheers, gents!
