THE TAMPA EDITION
Our thoughts on the Edition Hotels’ latest… Edition.
LOCATION
You’re right across the street from the Amalie Arena, so perfect for a hockey game or concert trip!
Also, AlterEgo night club, The Pearl seafood restaurant and Florida Aquarium are all within steps of the front door. Not that you need it… as this resort is perfect for not moving at all!
THE HOTEL
If you’ve ever stayed at an Edition Hotel you know its lush with plant life on a white backdrop.
So, the photo opps are plentiful.
The rooms are fine and spacious with great accessories for your skin as Le Labo products for hair and body are standard in each room… Ever smell this stuff? My wife actually goes out of her way to buy it, thats how good it is.
THE AMENITIES
The Pool - A rooftop view high above the city w/ tropical oasis vibes. Not packed, great pool bar service!
The Market - We had an EPIC bowl of spicy rigatoni, plus a FULL cocktail bar. I mean the works!
The Coffee Bar - You name it, they have it! The bar becomes an Espresso Martini bar for happy hour on weekends!
Punch Room - The Edition’s high end cocktail bar. Challenge their mixologists, I dare you! *Open Fri & Sat Nites
Lobby Bar - These bartenders also didn’t flinch at any order… vibrant spot! Closes at midnight.
*This place has a spa, we didn’t get to use it. Further, it has a lounge on the premises thats going through a theme change.
Tip: Just know, the Edition is NOT cheap. Before you know it you’ll have spent $150 for an app and a couple cocktails. Beware!
